NOVAGLAZE is a decorative floor coating formulated for porous and dusty concrete flooring as well as sound concrete flooring. Available in six standard colours, the coating gives hard title like glossy finish.
NOVAGLAZE protects the surface of the concrete and its special properties help to prevent surface disintegration and provide a protective finish with a high resistance to traffic. This makes it very suitable for floor in the food factories, garage floors, garment factory floors and in all cases where an attractive dust free floor is required.

Application Procedure:
Surface preparation: Fill cranks, holes or spalled areas with rich grout or suitable cement mix.
All bare concrete surfaces should be cleaned to remove oil, grease, wax, and other contaminates. Etch the surface with dilute Hydrocloric Acid (10%). Etching produces a micro-roughening of smooth troweled finishes and neutralizes the Alkali on the surface. Acid tech should be applied at the rate of approximately 5 Sq.mtr. Per litre and allow to stand for atleast 15 minuted. Flush the surface free of all salts and residual Acid. Hosedown several times to be sure that no contaminating material remain.

Allow the surface to dry thoroughly before painting.

In case of previously painted surfaces remove any paint not in good condition ie. Paint thet is flaking, blistering, craking, etc. By scraping and wire brushing.

Application of Novaglaze:
Apply first coat after diluting NOVAGLAZE with 10% turpentine. For best result apply the first coat with a Nylon or Polyester bristle brush. Work NOVAGLAZE thoroughly into the pores of the masonry floor. After overnight drying apply the second coat without dilution with a brush or roller. When applying NOVAGLAZE in closed areas such as basement, be certain that there is good airflow. Open windows and use an exhaust fan to provide adequate ventilation.
